Formed in January as Alternate Transit Advertising, Inc.
First transit private/public partnership is formed with Cooperative Alliance for Seacoast Transportation (COAST) – increasing COAST’s revenue nearly 500% in the first year.
ATA was the first to introduce creative bus wraps north of Boston
Business was booming! Acquired transit advertising management contracts for Manchester, Nashua, Concord in NH and grew into Maine with the acquisition of Portland
As sole owner of ATA, both Jane Marlow Cutter and the company became a certified DBE/WBE in NH and ME
Continued north in Maine adding Lewiston- Auburn to the roster
Not just buses! ATA now works with Amtrak Downeaster through the Northern New England Passenger Railway Authority (NNEPRA)
Continued expansion into Massachusetts Haverhill/Lawrence area with the advertising management contract for Merrimack Valley Regional Transit Authority
South Portland City Bus Service is added to our repertoire
We reached Vermont! ATA helps Chittenden County Transportation Authority (now Green Mountain Transit) in Burlington with national advertising buys
Continued to grow throughout NH with expansion into the Salem/Londonderry market through the Cooperative Alliance for Regional Transportation – (Chester, Derry, Hampstead, Londonderry, and Salem)
ATA signs first billboard advertising management contract
Going further north in NH! Added exterior bus wrap coverage into Coos, Carroll, and Grafton counties
Acquired transit advertising management contract for Lowell Regional Transit Authority (LRTA) continuing our market dominance north of Boston
